Who is responsible for your data

Mandhur for R&D Solutions, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. It is responsible for your data on this site (mandhur.com) and in its products: Lubab, the Polarization Index and Causa Lab. The sections below set out what belongs to each product.

Our principles for data

• The minimum: we ask only for what a tool needs to work.
• No sale: we never sell or rent your data to anyone for advertising.
• No outside tracking: we use no advertising or tracking tools from third parties.
• An encrypted connection: all our sites run over HTTPS. Even so, the internet is never free of risk, so share what you think fit.

The company site (mandhur.com)

• The contact form: your name, organisation, email, phone and message reach our mailbox so that we can reply, and are used for nothing else.
• Preventing abuse: we keep a digital fingerprint of your device’s address, not the address itself, with the times you sent.
• The site uses no cookies.

Lubab

• Your account: your email, to create the account, keep your progress and retrieve your reports; and your name, or a pseudonym you choose.
• What you enter in the tools: your answers in tools such as the bias probe and the atlas of the everyday mind are processed to produce your results and keep your path so you can return to it.
• AI: some tools, such as the bias probe’s report, send your answers to an AI service provider to write your report.
• Visit counts: we count visitors each day with the platform’s own cookie, holding a random number that does not identify you. We store neither your device’s address nor that number, only a fingerprint of it, and we do not track the pages you read. These records are deleted after a little over a year.
• Your session: a cookie that keeps you signed in.

The Polarization Index

• No account: we ask for neither your name nor your email.
• Your issue’s text: stored on our servers to be analysed, and shown to no one. It is sent to an AI service provider (Google Gemini) for analysis.
• Publishing: your result appears under “Published issues” only if you agree, never with your original text, and you can stop publishing at any time.
• Your browser: a cookie with which your browser remembers your analyses.
• Preventing abuse: with each analysis we keep a digital fingerprint of your device’s address, not the address itself.

Causa Lab

Its policy will be published with its relaunch and added to this page.

Who processes data with us

• Hosting: GoDaddy.
• Mail: Microsoft 365.
• AI: the AI model providers each tool runs on. They receive only what the tool needs to work.

Your rights

• To ask for a copy of your data.
• To correct your personal details.
• To ask for your account and everything linked to it to be deleted permanently.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will tell account holders of any substantial change, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
